These terms govern your use of the getselekt.com website and the Selekt early-access waitlist. By using the site or joining the waitlist you agree to them. Please also see our Privacy Policy, which explains how personal data is handled.

2. What these terms cover
Selekt is a photo- and video-proofing tool for photographers and videographers, currently in pre-launch. These terms cover only the marketing website and the waitlist. The Selekt application itself (app.getselekt.com) is offered under separate terms shown when you create an account. Future paid subscriptions will be sold through Paddle acting as merchant of record — the purchase contract for such orders will be concluded with Paddle under Paddle's checkout terms.
3. The waitlist
- Joining the waitlist is free and non-binding — it creates no obligation to purchase anything, and no obligation for us to provide you any service.
- By signing up you consent to receiving e-mails related to Selekt's launch (announcement, early-access invitation, early-supporter benefits). Every such e-mail contains an unsubscribe option; you can leave the waitlist at any time.
- Early-access benefits communicated on this site (such as an early-supporter discount) will have their exact parameters — scope, duration, and conditions — confirmed at launch.
- We do not guarantee any launch date, specific features, pricing, or that access will be granted to every waitlist member.
4. Intellectual property
All content on this site — text, graphics, logos, product design, screenshots, and code — is owned by Tomáš Habr or used under licence, and is protected by copyright law. You may view the site and share links to it. You may not copy, scrape, republish, or commercially exploit the content without prior written permission. "Selekt" and the Selekt logo are unregistered marks of Tomáš Habr. Adobe and Lightroom are trademarks of Adobe Inc. — Selekt is an independent product and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Adobe.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- disrupt or attempt to disrupt the operation or security of the site,
- submit e-mail addresses you are not authorised to use, or perform automated / bulk signups,
- use the site in any way that violates applicable law.
6. No warranty
The website and waitlist are provided free of charge, "as is" and "as available". Product previews, screenshots, and feature descriptions reflect a product in development and may change before launch. To the extent permitted by law, we make no warranties regarding availability, accuracy, or fitness for a particular purpose of this website.
7. Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by Czech law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damage arising from the use of this free website or from reliance on pre-launch information. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law — including liability for damage caused intentionally or by gross negligence, or your mandatory rights as a consumer.
8. Third-party services and links
The site links to third-party services (for example Instagram, Facebook, and X) and uses third-party providers described in the Privacy Policy. We are not responsible for the content or practices of third-party sites.
9. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms — for example when the application launches. The "Last updated" date above always reflects the current version. Material changes will be highlighted on this page. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
10. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the Czech Republic. Disputes will be resolved by the competent Czech courts. If you are a consumer in the EU, you also keep any mandatory protections of the law of your country of residence.
Consumers in the Czech Republic may use out-of-court dispute resolution provided by the Czech Trade Inspection Authority (Česká obchodní inspekce, Štěpánská 796/44, 110 00 Prague 1, coi.cz).
